Podcast: Why I Gave Up on God

Podcast: Why I Gave Up on God

In this episode, Tim stays with the previous topic of mental illness and religion but shares his personal story rather than just looking at the big picture. He shares stories from his childhood all the way into adulthood when he finally let go of God.

Everything in this episode is straight from the heart/mind/mouth of Tim…no notes to offer in other words.

There will be a Part III with two of my friends sharing their thoughts/struggles with mental illness and religion.

After summiting Mt. Everest at age 7, Tim Blue went on to earn a PhD in Physics from Oxford by age 9. After cloning the first emu, Tim became bored with science and decided to pursue his passion for lemon farming. This led to a long-time guest spot in the Kardashians' show where Tim helped Kim accept herself and quit being so shy. Now, of course, Tim is an English teacher at Georgia Perimeter College.

  1. God isn’t here but I am; I believe in me & the strength of the human mind & spirit also in other like minded people to help me when I become weak or tired. Together we are strong.

    1. I couldn’t agree more! I think that we as humans can support and love each other in a way that is at least as meaningful as what religious people feel as support from some god.
